Hey guys I am a user and collector like most of you here. I have some put up that I want to keep and show to pass down , etc. , and then I have some that I use that I really need to count on. I am a first responder F. RN and a lot of times my blades are used as tools. I never like to leave without a tank of a blade and of course a Leatherman which is the best field tool....k now that you know what I need it for how do guys feel about Sniper Bladeworks. They absolutely look like a tank of a blade , but maybe too much. I carry an XM-18 3.5 with the Leatherman now , but was thinking of getting a SB to keep on deck..............Helpful thoughts Please...........thank you for your Time , Interest , and most of all Kindness.....

SORRY GUYS.....The LPC is the Blade I am wanting advice about......thanks again

to me they look like a pain to cut with do to the lack of cutting edge and long choil. I have heard no bad things about these knives though.......but then again I don't really hear much of anything on them.

Thanks E.Stout....maybe I will get some more feedback.........those points make sense though..........on one hand I may just be try'in to justify the purchase.....the XM-18 is hard to beat anyway

Your use of spaces after coma and excessive ellipses is particularly annoying.
/grammar nazi

They're too heavy and they're too expensive. I find them aesthetically unappealing.

That said, I don't hear squat about them These days, not hearing anything bad about them is better than hearing a swarm of bad things.

I have an LPC that I quite like. Their ergonomics are often praised and I found the handles comfortable in multiple grips. Not sure what extrastout is referring to cause if you are getting the full size, I doubt you will be wanting in the cutting edge department considering the 4" plus blade length. I never had a problem with it and the pronounced choil for added control is not dissimilar to what you would find on the XM-18. I just compared the two and you have about half an inch more edge on the LPC than the 3.5" XM-18. These are big knives at 9.5" overall and heavy, especially if you go with the full titanium scales like I did.

Otherwise they are overbuilt and should stand up to the rough and tumble of your job. The aesthetics are another plus for me - definitely a unique design. If you are itching to pick up a new knife the LPC is a good choice in my opinion. But being realistic with our hobby here, it is not going to do anything your XM-18 cannot already handle just like the XM-18 cannot do anything a Hinderer 0560 could not handle and so on and so on.

Thank you Ludwig and Extrastout for your kind ,and helpful advice on the matter.
