Patiently waiting on my pm2 thinking bout picking up another knife from spyderco. The junior stuck out to me as a lil different but not unappealing I think if I could get some blue scales put on it that it would pop nicely. I was just wanting some users inputs and thoughts on this knife if they like it or not.
Oh also thought bout picking up a gayle Bradly too so feel to post your thoughts on it as well

About two weeks ago, I was trying to decide between a Gayle Bradley CF and the Junior. I bought a Junior. I will still get the Gayle Bradley eventually, but am happy with the Junior. I also just picked up a Southard, so everything else is kind of taking a back seat to that. I do like the Junior, the lock is awesome, my first compression lock. The G10 is a nice texture, not as smooth as the Tenacious, not as rough as the Southard. The liners are thin and milled (kind of surprising because there is so little to be milled). It is very light, and a bit smaller than I imagined, however the cutting edge far surpasses any knife in its size range. One thing I learned is it is not as flippable as the PM2 when closing it. It has resistance and almost requires two hands or using your leg to fully close it. You can hold the lock over and flip it closed, but it is tricky. This is purposeful for safety reasons (goes along with the whole premise of the knife being for a youngster with the large finger choil) as I understand it. I wear a medium glove and it fits my hand nicely, but I could see a larger handed guy considering it a bit small. I wish it had the wire clip of the Sage series, but this one is fine, a bit tight and smaller, so it does not slide in and out of the pocket as easily. Overall, I am happy I purchased, but cannot attest much to its useability, as I have just not really used it much. I too like something a little different and like collaborations, and this one fits right in. If that is what you are looking for, I might suggest the Spyderco Jens Anso Zulu. This is being discontinued, and on special at http://www2.knifecenter.com/item/SP...Knife-3-132-inch-S30V-Plain-Blade-G10-Handles I got this one the same day I received the Junior and this one impressed me more, and $30 cheaper. It is crazy smooth, feels awesome in hand, and is one great looking knife. I will not be using it a whole lot due to its weird grind shape and sharpening difficulties, but will carry it when I want something a little different. Also check out the Chokwe, http://www2.knifecenter.com/item/SP...Folding-Knife-375-inch-S30V-Blade-G10-Handles on sale and being discontinued. That and the Southard are my two favorite Spydies so far.

Also, I noticed you are new. There is a Spyderco sub-forum that would serve you better when asking questions about Spyderco only. If you wanted to compare a Junior to any other brand, general knife discussion section is where you would go, but Spdyerco nuts will more likely see it in the Spyderco sub-forum, as this one will get buried in general a lot faster.
