Thoughts on Swamp Rat M9CG . . . it has arrived!!

I have a Swamp Rat M9CG on the way and wanted to get some thoughts from the experts. Please share them!

10/26/10 UPDATE:
The M9CG arrived today. Wow!! What a beast of a blade. I knew it was on the larger side, but this thing is AWESOME! :D After holding the M9 for a while and then picking up the RMD, the RMD feels like a toothpick. The M9 is Black canvas/tanker gray blade. Goes great with my RMD (black paper/tanker gray). Hell, in my opinion it looks great with all the Rats I have.

For those who know, how does this compare size/weight wise to the Ratweiler? How does each feel in the hand? That's what I have my eyes on next and would like some thoughts from those that have handled or own both. Thanks guys.

BTW, the M9 is a sweet knife! I have 2 LE's, myself and I love 'em. :thumbup: CongRAT's to you on getting your hands on a CG. :)
 
The M9LE is one of my favorite choppers... awesome look and feel. You're gonna love it. Don't be afraid to get out there and use the thing even if it does look pretty!
 
The M9 is a great combination of blade length and balance, I love mine.

CongRatulations on a great knife! :D Please post pics of it when it arrives!
 
It does seem to be a great looking knife with wonderful balance. I'm not sure it's the best Busse-kin chopper but looks to be a great all around blade for that size. What color combo did you get?

I only own one Rat so far the Ratweiler. But the M9 does look very appealing to me. The steel in the Rats does get scary sharp though.
I think you'll be happy with it. Nice score man. :thumbup:

The key is: What do YOU think of it. Forget what we think. I've sold knives that I was "pressured" into and bought others I didnt' want for the same reasons. For now, I've held off on a lot of offerings and such b/c they don't meet MY needs.

If the M9CG works for you, that's all that matters.

I had an LE and sold it only b/c it was a dupe of so many other blades of that size from Bussekin.

This will only be my fourth Swamp Rat...I have a RMD, HRLM and Swamp Wardern. I'm not concerned with not liking it or it being similar to the ones I have. I just wanted to get some opinions from people that had experience with one. Mainly just to get me more excited until it arrives. Thanks for the thoughts.
 
I think... it should be sold in in the Swamp Store for people like me who can't make it to special shows/events!

I agree, that would be nice. I can't go to the events either, so I keep searching the exchanges. Found this one on another forum. There are always a ton of Bussekin available. You just have to pick what you want and make sure it fits your budget.:(
 
Congrats!!! They look good together!

The M9 and RMD look like they need a piggyback rig in gray or black. :D
 
I looked so long for an M9 (LE or CG) or a Ratmastiff and could never get one before it was scarfed up by someone else.

Would up having a custom forged for me from 52100 with a differentialy hardened blade instead.
