Thoughts on the Blackhawk Hawkhook?

I got one for a friend of mine who is a painter. It works great for opening paint cans. Better than a $10 gerber with the tip busted off anyway.

I do, what do you want to know?

Mostly if it broke at all, and how well it held up to its main functions. I'll make a quick list here:
1) Small pry bar
2) Cutting via hook/serrations
3) Glass breaker
4) Bottle opener

I'm also curious on its weight, as I cannot find it anywhere on the internet. Which is, needless to say, surprising. If this works out well, it could replace the little Gerber Artifact I've been using, with the addition of some good serrations.

it was a little smaller than I expected it to be. I'd guess the weight is ~ 2.5 oz give or take.

Its not really what you'd call heavy duty, so if you are looking for a prybar, I'd look elsewhere. Like I said, my friend uses his for opening paint cans, for which it works good. Anything more than that though and I think I'd look for something else.

I dunno about the glass breaker, its kind of gimmiky if you ask me, just a pointed portion of the blade that you are supposed to swing into the window. Not the point on the end of the handle like I'd normally associate with a glass breaker, where you can grab the knife in a hammer fist and smash a window.

Can't really comment on cutting with the serrations other than to say it can pretty sharp.

Sounds decent for $30, and small/light is good. I just want to remove the Artifact/Widget bar from my EDC. It seems more efficient to carry this. Thanks for the feedback.
