Hey guys, for some reason I can't get this knife out of my head. I'm thinking of this for EDC to work. It's not too big to scare people but not to small to be awkward. I'm very tempted to buy one. What are your thoughts on this knife?

I love it. I bought a blem(that I cant find a blem on) a few years ago. Ive carried it as my primary deer knife. Have used it on 5 deer and works like a charm

Wanted one for a long time, love the looks of it and I think it's a great design. However, doesn't fit my hand well at all (too small for me). If it fits you I think it's a great option.

I'm pretty excited right now. One of my buddies is interested in straight razors. I have a small collection that I shave with so I decided I would give him one to get started with. Along with a brush, soap strop and an opinel no9. He was so happy that he said he would buy the 113 for me. How about them apples? I'm going to get one after all. It's nice to know that a good deed is actually appreciated every now and then. :). I can't wait. I'll report back after I get my new present

Mine is an alaskan guide model, very nice hunting knife, excellent kitchen knife as well.ABit too small for my hands ,but overall a great design.

I'm not a hunter also, but I got to handle a 113 when I was at an outdoor store a few months back. Beautiful looking knife and felt great in hand, and it's made right here in the US. The 113 and the BK16 or 17 is on my must buy list.

I bought one a couple of years ago, thought the handle was a tad small (wear extra large gloves), but after skinning and butchering two deer with it in 2012 I found it to be a perfect whitetail knife. I think you will enjoy it. OH

It could use about another 1/4"-1/2" but certainly managable

This is the only "action" photo I have with the 113. Little desperation button buck near the close of the last day of the season

Hey guys, just a quick update. I was finally able to get up with my buddy and pick up the knife today. This thing is sweet. Fit and finish is perfect and it fits my hand just right. I'm currently working on a lefty sheath for it. That's the one thing I hate about buying fixed blades. I have to make a sheath before I can carry it "normal". As soon as I finish the sheath I'll post some pictures up. :)

I'm not a hunter but I picked up the 113 in a store not too long ago just to see how it feels. It feels great in hand.

Okay fellas, here it is ready for carry. I'm very pleased with this knife and now I can carry it normally. My wife even gave me her stamp of approval on the sheath.
Here it is before the dye job:

And dyed and waxed:
