Hi, is there anyone here who owns or has held this knife? I know it's made in China and has 7Cr17MoV bladesteel, but I don't really care about that as long as it's a good knife. I really don't have any experience with this steel either.
Anyone here who can give me an answer?:)

There tends to be quite a few problems with made-in-china gerbers. they are not known to be very reliable, and i think you could do better with a mora. cheaper, too, depending on the model.

Gerber gets a bad name on this site. Gerber's not as bad as these forums make it sound like. However, I do think there are much better knives out there.

The steel is equivalent to 440a, I have it in several of their blades. Most knife snobs on this forum would tell ya it's junk.but I have no problems with it.Just know that it is soft, so you'll have to sharpen more plus side is it's easier to sharpen in the field.I've had a lot of SOG knives when I was in the military
that where 440a.If you can sharpen try them out they are pretty cheap.

I have one on my bug out bag. I love the sheath. Bear in mind though that this is a back-up to a back-up to a back-up. The blade is very thin and it does use cheap Chinese steel. I wish they would at least use 8Cr13MoV.

I saw the same knife last week at Gander Mountain but it was branded Smith & Wesson. That's not encouraging.
