I searched and there isn't much out there on the Lux. Seems to be a rather ignored new knife in the line up.

For those who have been carrying them for a while, thoughts on them?

If you didn't get one for your collection, why not?

I'm thinking I want one so let me know if you have one collecting dust that just wasn't for you.

I bought the Lux Pro for an EDC and returned it as soon as it showed up. I really didn't like it at all. I never knew how much I didn't like the recurved blade design on it till it was in hand. It seemed like an over priced 327 Nobleman. It just wasn't for me

I have one and more than likely it will never get used. It's just too small for me and I don't like the blade shape. It reminds me too much of one of the small Kershaws. Lucky, I went with the Select when I bought it so it's no big loss.

That blade design didnt strike me well either, though I havent handled it.

Ditto. None of the models appealed to me either. Blade is just not what I like and it's to small. I wouldn't be surprised if it hits the web specials site at some point.

Thinking about what Matt said about the Lux reminding him of the nobleman, I'd love to see the nobleman brought back and produced in the Pro series with S30V.
I really like the blade profile on this knife and would be a buyer if USA made.

Ditto,
I've thought about getting the nobleman. It looks like a pretty nice knife for a contemporary style. But have hesitated due to it not being made in the U.S. Although I buy plenty other imported goods, It just kinda feels like I should keep my Bucks U.S. made. But I may wind up trying one.

Although it does look a little better than some tacky-kools.......it still has too many moving parts for me.

:)

i'd like one. these types of knives appeal to me i just think the price point is kinda high for what it is.

You said it g, I dont event need the s30v necessarily. I really liked the look of the burl Christmas tin. I like everything about the Nobleman except for the crappy 440A steel. USA 420HC would be great for me. S30V would be a nice luxurey though for sure.

I'm still looking at the Lux's for some reason, so, kicked this back up for any more input people have on the much unloved knife.

Anyone like them at all? Anyone EDC'ing one now? Will be hard to bump the Vantage Force out of my pocket (it did bump a std Vantage aside for now though).

Or, if you have one collecting dust let me know.

Got the Lux pro recently. Think the carbon fiber scales are beautiful. Really like the look and feel of this knife. Don't EDC the knife though. That spot goes to Paperstone Vantage. Lux is now part of the collection.

You know Fritz, I agree with you about the 420hc. Produce a USA Nobleman and I'll buy it. Hey maybe the Nobleman blade will fit in a Lux frame???
