I've been a very late adopter of the canister stoves. I've had a hard time finding canisters for fuel when I go to remote areas. As I read the rules, you can't fly with the fuel canisters either, and a lot of the places I go you can't drive to, so I'm stuck.

But some of these little stoves are SO slick that I just can't resist for stateside monkeybusiness. I traded one of my lawnmower blade parangs for an MSR Micro-Rocket (thanks Tradewater.) I really like it but I'm careful about what I pair it with for wilderness applications. I like to have a manual (or analog) method of cooking available. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video.

I've had it for several years and used it many times and its always worked well. Best stove I've ever owned and you can't beat its micro size. Boils water quick and takes about 1 minute to set up. I remember the 70's and my old Svea stove.............that was a good one back then but this one is awesome.
