Thoughts on the new Damascus Kwaiken ?

Hello,

Has anyone seen the new Boker Damascus Kwaiken. Right now only available at one retailer. Looks great in my opinion but I think the price is a bit steep @ $249. What are your thoughts?

not a fan of damascus myself. sure like the way it looks, but i have no need for pretty since i use and don't collect. sure their are folks who use their damascus knives, but if i owned one i wouldn't...so it's not for me.

i feel the price point isn't worth it, but that's me.

For spurring continued interest in the kwaiken model;
Which by now
has probably reached its peak in popularity.
But in all honesty
It's about time that boker be also looking
At producing economically priced Kwaiken models
For the masses...
Just my two cents.

looks great overall but I'm not a fan of the boker plus logo on the scale. I guess they don't have any place to put it otherwise.

That is a good point. I don't think we will see it though...but id buy one or two at better price points.

I myself love this new Kwaiken but must admit I have never owned any others
