As a survival tool or as a plinky toy?
If you're looking for something to blow off steam, it's no worse than any other CO2 pistol. It would have some use in short range vermin control on a fresh gas cartridge. I used to use a CO2 repeater to shoot mice in a hunting shack.
In a survival situation I'd rather have a red brick and a white hanky.
