I was pondering what type of knife I should buy next and I came accross this baby. I am constantly purchasing tactical knives that are made for hard use (and of course they are all black), with the thought that I am going to jump out of my patrol car and cut through a screen door to a crack house, take out the bad guys, chop through 50ft of 1" manila rope that is wrapped around the 20 kilos of dope that I single handedly found, and save the day. Then I wake up and go to work, and reality; Car accidents, cutting my subway sandwich into 4ths so It'll last the entire shift, cleaning the crud from under my fingerniails, and other mundain tasks. In my 8 yrs of law enforcement, this is all I really have needed a knife for. I figured I would try out this knife as it seemed to fit the "utilitarian" bill a bit more. I have used and will use my knife at more accident and crime scenes than I will ever use in some sort of pent up tactical scenario. This knife is light, thin, and all around cool to look at. Plus I am a lefty and this knife is ambidextrous. Thanx Sal for the great design.
