What are your opinions on this knife? I can't find much about it. I find the design very intriguing and it's crazy thick, at a quarter inch.

It has that odd sharpened bit on the back and imo resembles a more robust looking, thicker Becker/ESEE. This is the only knife I've come across online, that I feel has the potential to be a multi-lifetime heirloom blade that can actually be used heavily. Of course only if it's taken well care of.

Doesn't do a whole lot for me. Lots of knives that can be used heavy and will last multiple lifetimes, Tops doesn't really come in the top 20 for that for me. But knives are personal and subjective, what one person likes another won't. Take a look at some Swamp rats, Busse, Randalls and dozens of others for heirloom quality blades.

If the top sharpened is like a scandi grind, then you have a very fine cutter on the top
And with a very robust blade on the bottom could be interesting

But
I find TOPS designs to be a little bit too clever
And at the thickness cleaver like
They try too hard to come up with something special
And their prices are higher

Becker as an example of extremely well designed knives for much less a price
Add grips and a kydex sheath and they are still under the price of a TOPS

Interesting. The only other knife I've seen ground that way at the spine is Cold Steel's Outdoorsman. CS calls it a "bone breaker," and they demonstrate its effectiveness at this task in one of their vids. I wonder if it's intended for the same function on this knife?

I don't like the design of it. it resembles the Cold Steel's Outdoorsman like previously mentioned, but it's way too thick, bulky and heavy for that task. sure it will baton better, but the outdoorsman is not meant for that, but for general light use outdoors. and that mini pry bar at the bottom.. the scales will block any leverage one might had. Oh well.. it's not an Anaconda but i would have it over a mora in an emergency scenario, or had to process a T-bone for soup.

1 - Ground WAAAAAAAY too low for a knife that thick, some frickin machete business right here...
2 - Pointless hole in upper guard
3 - Uncomfortable looking wide guard and butt
4 - Why is the bone breaker back edge so far back
5 - Handle could be too square, depends on hand size

154cm? Nice, i almost considered buying one

With the back sharpened like that it would be kinda dangerous to choke up on the blade.

TOPS needs to just make a knife that does one thing instead of trying to make a tool box out of one blade.
