Does anyone have any experience with the Zero Tolerance 0220 Anzo? I'm looking to get one and wanted to know what everyone thought of them. I like the looks of the knife especially the blade and orange back space. Also any good mods for the 0220 that you know of.

I have the ZT 0220, which is an awesome knife. It flips like a dream and is rock solid. It has almost a full flat grind, with an edge width of 0.023 inches, making it a pretty good slicer.

I have an 0220 but with the black backspacer. It's my first flipper, so I really can only compare it with my assisted openers.
It has very smooth action. Definitely a pocket brick!

I find during heavy use I need to adjust my grip to avoid hot spots. But overall, its a very cool knife!

This one of those ZTs that kind of stayed under the radar. Honestly outside of the 300 series the 0220 is probably the most tank like knife that ZT has made. It is thick stock, full ti and is a pretty big knife. I have owned one since they came out and while it does not carried a ton I like it a lot. One concern I had was it would be slick when in wet conditions but the style of the handle seemed to keep that from happening for me.

Fantastic knife, great ergos, fires like a rocket. Haven't seen any specific mods, but no doubt someone, somewhere, is doing them.

Thanks for the feedback, I like tank knives and don't mind the weight.

I don't own 0220 nor any 03xx but am also curious about it. So it is more tank-like than ZT 0909? I have/had about nine different ZTs (including ZT 0200) and there is no doubt 0909 is the most tank-like ZT folder that I've had.

It is not as long in overall size as the 909 but it actually has a thicker blade and is about the same width across.

Love mine. Great size. My hand locks right into the handle. Amazing flip (keep your fingers off the lock bar :)). The minor recurve on the blade isn't silly.

And I'm with you on the orange backspacer. Looks good.

I’ve been eyeballing the 0220 but not jumped on one since I’ve been moving away from ball bearing pivot flippers. But I just got to handle one in a local store and I was really impressed with it. Cabela’s has them and I do have some points to use with them...

But come on, the 550 is THE definitive tank ZT. I think it must have had the thickest lockbar slab of titanium of all.

I've had one in my rotation since it came out, and I love it (like 99,9% of ZT's lineup, to be honest). It's thick and bulky but super comfortable to work with. I like how simple it looks with the plain blade and handle.

Actually the 220 might be close. I will have to get my old 550 out and take a second look!

I still love my 0550s. I briefly considered settling my BLK; but I came to my senses.

I handled the 0220 the year they were released; and I don't remember thinking of it as particularly large, let alone a "brick".
