Hey there knuts.

I've just bought a Henckels 4 bladed stockman, with mahogany scales

this is it

what does everyone think of this brand?

I did a search and all I got was one bloke saying he loved his.

It appears that it is fairly well made, but I'll know in about two weeks hopefully.

unfortunately I need to buy most of my knives on ebay because with the exchange rate and shipping I'd end up paying about $65 US if I bought this from a online store.

It makes the options a lot smaller.

Thanks for the input people

Hi that looks like a nice knife. Henckels, until recently, were made by Boker in Solingen. I have a few but not that pattern and they seem like a good knife to me. One problem I and others have is that the little shield is glued on and has a tendency to fall out. I super glued one back on and no problems since. I hope you like it. Please provide us with a review once you have it.

I've got two little Henkels pen knives from the 60's (MOP & Toledo) plus a back lock stag from the 70's that are great knives. Mike

I have a few henkels pocket knives, trapper, stockman, stag copperhead, red congress in carbon and a red bone lockback, all seem well worth the money. My only complaint is the nail nick on the stockman is very shallow, while the others are fine.

I havn't seen many Henkels around lately, are they still being produced?
