Thoughts on this, is the purple web Blur worth the price?

I really like the Blur I just got with the S30V, is the purple web worth the extra price?
 
What price are you looking at? Dave has them for $85 on his site. And no matter what anybody here says, whether it is worth it or not is up to you and what you want to do with it.
 
Check out Kershawguy's Black Friday Pre-warehouse sale before pulling the trigger elsewhere. The extra price might be less than you think...

The differences between the S30V and the purple web blur seem to be:
- S30V vs. CPM-154 blade steel
- Stonewash vs. Black Coated blade
- Aluminum w/ Trac-Tec inserts vs. Plain Aluminum handles
- Regular production run vs. Limited run
 
My wife and daughter also liked the green web, is that also a limited run?
 
I did have to blunder in here... I was just thinking that I wanted a plain edge 154cm knife to go with my serrated Gerber Covert. I would like it better if it weren't recurve. I wasn't raised on recurves so they just aren't as appealing.

Edit to add: Am I the only one who thinks the purple looks like a pimp knife?

Being married for 20+ years I haven't had a need for hookers or their pimps to know what the current fashion is popular in "pimping" or the in vogue knives that they carry.
 
I wasn't planning on getting either the green or purple but low production number Kershaws for $75 is a heck of a deal. Ordered one of each and if I don't take I shine to them I'll have some good trading items in a year or so. I keep thinking of all they other times I've seen something selling for a premium and wishing I had bought it when it was "cheap"
