I posted a thread with a few knives for sale at 4:17 pm. One person responded that he was taking one of them per our PMs. Another wanted to go back and post he'd take another, but the thread is now gone from the Marletplace. I was able to hit the "back" button to get back to it from previously. At the bottom it states "Awaiting approval before being displayed publicly.

What causes that? How do I avoid it in the future?

I need to get the thread back up and running because it will prevent someone from leaving feedback. Not to mention the potential loss of a sale or two.

Thanks!

Something you did triggered the Spam filters. I'm not certain that even Spark knows what sets them off. But once they are triggered the thread is removed from public view until one of the supers reviews it and checks to see if it really is spam or not. Pretty much the first thing any of us do each time we log in is check the queue for items waiting approval. Once an item is reviewed and approved, it becomes visible to the general membership.

A favorite tactic of spammers is to post something innocuous, then go back and edit the post to add spam. I'm fairly certain the filters check for people going back and editing posts.

As far as I can tell, your thread is currently back up and running.
