Thread Locked

As the original poster, (unless they fixed this) you can reopen the ad and make the desired edit. I'm pretty sure I've been able to edit my ads while they're locked; but I wouldn't swear to it.

*IF the ad was locked by a moderator, you might not be able to reopen it (assuming they fixed that glitch)... but if you were the one that did it (even accidentally) it's an easy fix.

*edited to add - I just looked at the ad, and didn't see any indication that it's locked.

OK, Thanks - I can edit the ad fine now (and did). I see in "Thread Tools" there are two check boxes; one says "Open", the other "Select for Moderation", could you possibly tell me what those actually do? Last question, any idea why it may have been previously locked? Thank you.

"Open". Put a check in the box, and the thread is open for people to post in it. clear the check from the box and it is closed.
"Select for moderation" allows the moderators to select the thread for merging or moving. I think that even if you can mark that box, you won't be able to do anything with it.

I don't see any notations on moderator actions on that thread. Coulda been gremlins, or an errant click.
