Thread Merge - 524 Error

Guess I'll try again in the morning. It just seems really odd and has never happened.
 
I have been getting same error message. for the last couple days. I can reply to a thread, but I can not post new thread. If you figure it out, post the solution here.
 
uhmm...still getting a 524 error message just for that one thread.

I can post a short message only.

Here is what I have tried:
- updated ipad
- tried another ipad
- tried another laptop
- cleared history, data , cookies in each
- tried going through an edit direction
- tried going through a preview option
- editing small amounts at a time
- tried waiting a minute before hitting enter

Here is what I have noticed:
- the auto save is not kicking on if I pause for a while
- it is still only for that one thread.
- I can post new threads


Any ideas?
 
Update:

It just got more odd.

I can post on the current thread now with no issues except one. I get timed out anytime I try to post or edit on page 4 of the thread. To me that is just odd. Now that the thread has moved past four it will not allow me to carry info/text over to page 5.

Not really concerned just thought others may find this odd.
 
pretty much the same type of thing that's going on with me, I think there is an issue with the server

I just got this now when trying to make a thread in general knife discussion. looks about the same as what sandeggo posted.
 
Since last night I've been trying to post a quoted reply to this thread. Every time I do I get a Cloudflare error page that tells me I've got a 524 error. I've dumped my cache and yet every time I try to reply to the thread I get a "restore auto-saved content" button at the bottom of the post box, which often but not always contains all of what I tried to post. What am I doing wrong here?
 
Try to leave out the quote and see if it works.
 
I've been getting the same thing all day in multiple threads - including this one! :(
 
I also keep getting logged out, and have had the 524 Error message just trying to log back in again :(
 
Last night I attempted to reply to a PM and it would not go through and eventually timed out. I just attempted it again today and the same thing happened. After that I cleared all of the cookies and tried once more with the same result.

This happens whether I hit 'submit message' or 'preview message'.

Here is what I get after it has timed out:

It gets weirder: I just managed to post my quoted reply in the thread I previously referenced. I figure it had to be on the forum end because each time I tried to reply there was a button marked "restore auto saved content."
 
Is Bladeforums now on Cloudflare?

EDIT: I was obviously able to post here... an hour later I still get the message every times I try to reply on another (specific) thread.
