Thread moved to area I cannot access.

Hey there,

I started a thread about proposed weapons law change in Germany in the "current events" subforum. Unfortunately, a moderator moved it to a sub-forum that only paying members can access. Slightly counter-productive, don´t you think?
 
Depending on the content, that may have been the right move. If the discussion was getting fairly political, then it should be moved...BFC has a smart policy that politicizing be restricted to paying members to ward off trolling that too often comes with it. Sadly, it's usually not the OP who was doing the politicizing, but those who reply...but it's the OP who then loses out when readers don't conform.

Or, perhaps, it could be relocated to Knife Laws? They cover quite a bit more than knives there, and the topic is often international.

Just found your thread.

I'm no mod, but in my opinion it was the responses to your original post that warranted its relocation to the Political forum.
 
Politics threads go in the politics forum. Laws are politics.
