Thread moved?? Why??

Hello:

I put a thread up asking for advice on a knife I'm thinking about trading for and the thread was moved from the "general" forum and the "custom" forum to the "feedback" forum??

Why would anyone give advice in the "feedback" forum, people only go there to leave feedback for knives they have purchased or sold?

I think the thread actually belongs in the forums I actually posted it in as that's where I would expect to get advice from knowledgable fellow members??

Because you're asking for feedback on how to go about a potential trade, that's not a knife discussion thread. It was moved because the Feedback forum is specifically for questions/concerns about buying and selling, it's poorly named but fits your thread more accurately.
 
What Matt says is true in general. Whether it applies to the thread in question I cannot say until I see the thread. Please provide a link so I don't have to spend time hunting for it.

I see your point. The forum software does not show who moved the thread. I can move it back to General Forum if you wish.

Sorry, I didn't see that you had replied earlier, only saw when benchwarmer posted to this thread. Moving it back might be a help as there seems to be no replies here? Thanks
 
I moved it to General and modified the title to clarify.
"Trade help please? Good trade?"
