threads

In your thread, right above the first post, click the Administrative tab. It will say Open with a dot next to it, just click proceed.
 
Just as a note, you can also open and close threads by simply double clicking the envelope icon next to the title.

Sweet, did not know that. I had about 35 or so old Exchange threads that were still open and i never felt like taking the time to go through each one to close them down. That sure made it easy.

You're welcome. On a side note, you should also be able to edit the title (to add "sold" or whatever) by just double clicking next to it in the thread list.
 
Playing around with it, it seems that you can only edit the title that way when the thread is open.

Regarding the double click open/close, if you close it and then either refresh the page or move away and then go back you are unable to reopen it in that manner.

Odd. I can edit my closed thread titles and open/close that way just fine after refreshing or coming back. May be a mod side effect or browser thing.

Might be the former as I tried it on Google Chrome and Internet Explorer with the same results. Or my browsers need an upgrade. Oh well.
