Thanks to a trade with Chris (hapasnyper) I now have my first Case-Bose collab, the large stockman in chestnut bone. Here I decided to compare it with two of my other big'uns, a Queen #49 Cattle King in curly zebrawood, and a NF #82 Dixie in burnt stag. First the pics!

Now for the numbers. The bone handled Bose was the heaviest, the Queen was the biggest, and the GEC was the trimmest.

The Bose takes pride of place, due to its excellent W&T and F&F, plus the upgraded edge holding of the 154CM. The other two are excellent knives, especially considering their much lesser selling price and stardard production. I'm glad I have all three.

Very interesting table you put together Jeff. Must say I'm a bit shocked by the weight of the CASE/Bose  that's not something you want in your pocket if you fall in the water:Do_O It looks a lot like the Queen 49 apart from the master blade. I've been long thinking about a CASE/Bose Cattle Knife if the right one turns up, hope it's not as heavy as its Stock knife cousin:D Recently got a Queen No.9 in WCSB, my current favourite stock knife.

Thanks, Will

Is that a shadow or is there so pretty nice swedging going on on the Case/Boses's sheepsfoot?

All three blades on the Case-Bose are nicely swedged, with the happy effect that there is no blade rub.

Not bad at all!
Ive got a Case/Bose trapper that I’m (somewhat shamefully) scared to take out of the box. Them swedges make want to do so….
