Great catch on the kobra argued with myself just a little too long.

Thanks. I had only a brief argument. :D

I was wondering about Yuvraj Kami also. I did a search and saw that his work comes up from time to time.

Well I have a 25in one I got a few years back and just couldn't make up my mind if I needed another.

just a reminder that the 30 inch king kobra was discontinued because people were using it as a chopper more than as a sword and bending the blade...people with more knowledge might know if this was resolved..past that i wish i had been quicker and gotten it..

That's interesting. Of course the new warranty language would protect HI from "field use" of the Kobra. This particular example seems to be relatively heavy for the model.

Is Sher the (tiger)s mark on the blade U.B.? I'm just wondering after looking at your Chainpuri, as the HI Ang Khola I just purchased has the same mark on the blade. Sry if this is off topic but I'm been trying to find out for days who the Kami that made my blade is but I didn't want to start a knew thread just to ask. thanks

Sher's mark is not "U.B." That stands for Uncle Bill Martino, founder of HI. Before he passed on, he wanted the kamis to engrave all HI product with this stamp.

Sher's mark is a rising sun. (Half-circle with vertical rays above it.)

Cool Mr Mike, I've been looking at the marks on my Ang Khola, and it does have a rising sun on it so perhaps it was made by Sher after all. Thanks for the info here and on the other thread.
