wooooo sweeeet blems today....
congrats to all who snag one or ALL!!! :D

that CAK would be my pick :)

Agreed. It's a steal at that price; especially since the only problem is the scabbard.

22" and 32 ounce khuk makes for one tough 'ceremonial' blade. Not just for show, this one: It can hack and sack Zombies or brush.

I'll let you know. :)

I swear I've retired my fin. No pre-prepared emails, no tricks.

Other criteria: no brass, can't already that model, has to be way-unusually pretty.

Just saw the BB and started typing. So it's supposed to come hither.

Out of work early due to tornadoes...

Looks like they might be going back to smaller handles on the Bagh Bhairab, or it's old stock.

Great snag Mike.

The BB just came- two day service from Yangdu!

It is a lovely wicked piece. Some khukuris are for wood, some are for brush, some are *seemingly* for fighting, but the BB is something apart from all those.

Need to do a review but its loooooong sweet spot, geometry and medium weight add up to specific purpose.

edit: Handling it more, it is made for one terrific downstroke- not a casual chop or brush swipe. Like an M43, seems like it will bite hard.

This is what I came to find out about mine as well. It can do fine chopping, however it's real power comes in a downward strike. I was able to sink the full width plus an extra 1/2" of mine into a good size log with only about a half power downward strike. It even made a good size split in the wood.

A review would be wonderful. :)

Glad you like yours- and you were right about the handle; one finger goes on the metal but it's OK.

Main difference with this model is it'd put a cut over a foot long on whatever it hits... with authority.
