I like to make these little knives out of drops when cutting out other knives. This one is 1/16” cru-wear @Rc63, 0.005” behind the edge, 15dps. I’m upset at myself over the scales, as they had gorgeous texture, but I didn’t thin them enough before glue up, and I ended up grinding most of the texture off. It’s a pretty rough finish, but the new owner is quite fine with that, as long as it cuts and holds its edge well.

Love me some scrap knives. :)
Nice one.

They’re quite stress free to make, as its just scrap, and if it sucks, throw it out. My relatives have quite the selection of bird&trout knives and papers from scrap.
