top -- the last Sgt. Karka khukuri in the house. 15.5 inch 1.5 pound Chiruwa AK steel mounted. Excellently executed. Good hard blade with convex edge. Nice handle. 10/10 work by Sarge. Good karda and chakma. Good scabbard. Overall excellent rig. Take it home for $75 today.
center -- 18 inch 2 pound AK by Sher with all the usual Sher features. The only thing I can find wrong with this rig is the karda and chakma are horn handle and khukuri is wood. Outside of that abnormality the rig is perfect. Take it home for $75.
bottom -- one of the special orders that went wrong. Customer wanted an 18 inch overall. For some unknown reason Bura convinced everybody except the customer that the khukuri should be made with an 18 inch blade + handle. Result is 22.5 inch khukuri weighing 41 ounces. Thickness is about 1/4 inch which is what customer specified. Rig is very good. Karda and chakma a bit too small for scabbard but that's an easy fix. Take this mistake home today for an even $100 and that's an UBBB.
Email. I'm off to see the cardiologist this AM so if you don't hear back right away you'll know why. Should be back in a couple of hours today. Just planning the misery today, not actually doing anything.
