The first one is a bowie/fighter forged from 1084. The blade is 7 1/4" long with an overall length of 12". The handle is stabilized and dyed giraffe bone with a framed handle. The guard is coin edged while the ferrel has a fileworked groove. The fittings, pins and handle frame are made from 416 stainless. The knife has a long clip that is difficult to see in the scan.

The second one is forged from 1084. The blade is 2 7/8" with an aol of 6 1/4". The handle is American elk that was dyed and cured by me. It was very solid and dense. The guard is 416 staniless and there is a mosiac pin in the end of the stag.

The third one is also forged from W2. It has a blade of 4" with an aol of 8 7/8". The handle is African Blackwood with the guard made up of 416 stainless, bronze and 416 Stainless. There is a mosiac pin in the hnadle. This one is sold and is being delivered at the show.

I like them all, but I am not sure about that dyed giraffe bone. I just haven't cottoned to that stuff yet. I saw some natural giraffe bone that looked great, but the dyed stuff leaves me cold.

That utilty/bird & trout knife is a beauty. It looks a lot like a slim version of the hunter in your other thread.

That is some of the nicest looking elk stag that I have seen. It has the colour of sambar. I would prefer this knife with a clip point, but that's just me. It really looks great.

Nice work Craig, I like all three... I'm kinda relieved that the third one is sold. I'd be calling you up right now! I dig the long clip on the first one. Of course, the second looks great too... nice little utility knife, and the elk looks nice too.

Oh yeah, come to Papa! That Blackwood handled hunter is MINE! Mine, I say, mine! (insert manaical laugh here)

:)

Very hand-friendly looking trio. Like Keith, I am not sure about the giraffe bone - I find it actually TOO heavy, but the piece is a slick one - its got some great lines and very fluid fighter profile. Jason.
