Up for sale: Bagh Bairab, 22" GRS, 30" Sirupate. Nothing wrong with them, but I no longer use two and will never use the third so it's time to find them a new home.
22", 31 ounce Bagh Bairab --$150 $130 $110, shipped. SOLD
I bought this one second hand in apparently new condition. I have not used, etched, or otherwise molested this myself. It's probably around two years old. I couldn't tell you what the handle is made of, other than it's wood. The scabbard is slightly tight but not dangerously so. Very light for its size, but the handle seems a bit small for serious use. Made by Sher. (S.B. and U.B. marked.)
30", 44 ounce Sirupate -- WITHDRAWN.
This one has been used quite a bit. It's currently cleaned up and has a satin finish, which is how I tend to maintain my users. There are some minor stains and visual blemishes obviously but nothing that will affect use. It was etched in the past and the hardened zone is still barely visible. The handle is wood and doesn't look half bad. Just the thing for handling troublesome blackberry thickets, small trees, and zombies. Made by Sher (S.B. marked) but no U.B. as this was made before UB's passing.
22", 43 ounce Ganga Ram Special --$140$120, shipped. SOLD
Another user, again in satin finish. I carried this one quite a bit for a time and thus modified covered the chape to prevent "leg-sticks." Also, I moved the frog up slightly in order to get it to hang vertically from a belt. There are plenty of scratches from use and some scuffs and dents on the spine, but all damage is strictly cosmetic. The hardened zone is visible and looks good. Wooden handle. This is a heavy, serious chopper that requires a strong arm if used for general purposes. Made by Bura (marked L.B.) but no U.B. marking, as this was made before UB's passing.
All prices include shipping via USPS Priority Mail. USPS money order or Paypal are fine for payment. (I'll eat the Paypal fee.) I'll take a personal check if I know you or have done business with you before. Please note that I don't have computer access at work so you may not hear back from me until the evening.
Thanks for looking.
