These are the last of the blades I'm taking to Boise. The first is a Ladder Pattern Fighter. Specs are approx. 200 layers of 1084 and 15N20 on a 9 3/8" blade. Double guard of 416 ss, black and NS spacers. Dessert Ironwood handle with domed NS pin. OAL 14 3/8". The chatoyance in this blade just can't be captured with my photography skills, or the lack there of.

The second is a 52100 integral with Stabilized Koa. This is the first Koa knife I've done and really like the way it dances in the light. The Koa was a gift from a friend( thanks Nick ;) ). Specs are - Blade 4 1/2" with thumbpatch, OAL 9 1/8". Handle is a tapered tang with Stab. Koa and 1/16" domed ns pins

The third is a W-2 hunter. Specs are - blade 3 3/4", OAL 8 1/8". Guard is 416 ss, handle is Ebony with a 1/16" domed pin.

Hope you like them.

damn, you make a clean looking knife!

All 3 look great. I really like the integral with the Koa.
Looks like Nick gave you a nice piece.
See you in Boise.

Three winners Mike - that little hunter is particularly crisp.

Have you ever done a larger integral - something with a 7" blade or so?

Roger

I love clean work....and those are CLEAN...!

Very well executed designs too...

ALL So, So clean.

Specifically,
I really like your long clip and ladder pattern execution on the fighter. Also beautiful Ironwood.
Don't like how you transitioned the blade edge into a sharp corner at the choil.
I would prefer a slight contour there.

The integral imo is excellent in every respect, partially the overall execution.

The hunter is outstanding. Looks to be a very ergonomically correct hunter overall and quite a looker as well.

That's going to be some show.

Following Russ here, clean and well executed... particularly like that immaculate integral,

John

Roger,

I think the biggest integral I've done was around 6". It was the damascus/stag taper I posted a few weeks ago. I love trying new, challenging designs. Is there something you had in mind.;)

Please e-mail me a pic of that one when you have a minute.

Kevin,

The majority of my knives have the choil area with a slight radius. I'm not sure why I didn't put that on this one,but I sure like the way it looks when you look straight down on the edge.

Thanks for the comments.

Really nice and clean stuff. I guess it's my recent bias towards integrals but I could stare at that one all day long. Fantastic.

SUPERB work my friend!!!

Can't believe you already put that wood to use... damn you're fast! You need to teach me some lessons on efficiency!

Looks like you're going to have one hell of a line up for your second show!!!! :D

Mike they are all very nice but the blade on that Bowie is awesome. I hope you have a good show.

Thanks for posting photos of your work, looking forward to seeing you at Boise, they are doing a great job promoting the show and it has a lot of potential.
