Three new Ares

It's been a good month for my Ares collection, but bad on the wallet.

First I got a nice 730 First Production in plain edge 154CM....great price, but sadly, no box.

Then a couple days later, I snagged this near-minty fresh 735BT without the Elishewitz stamp complete with box.

But today, my real prize came. Won this on ebay; Ares 730CFHS Prototype June 2001 in NIB condition for what I thought was a very good price considering that you don't see these for sale much at all.

That's three more to scratch off of the list.

Yeah, the seller didn't really advertise it very well, so it didn't get as much traffic as it should've. I think if the seller actually tagged it with better verbage (like "Ares", "Elishewitz", "Carbon Fiber", "Prototype") it would've sold for a lot more money. But hey, I'm not complaining.

But I would keep your proto away from such tasks.

I wish they were still in production. I'm not going to hunt for one and pay a high price, so I might never get one.
