hi guys
im in the process of negotiating for three new kuks now i know there all h.i.'s the bowie i know about but the other two two i dont know a thing about there all h.i.'s for sure the one with the brown scabard and the one with the carved handle and carved three piece are strangers to me any body got any ideas' The one with the brown scabard im sure is made by bura if you look carefully at the blade marking you'll just make out his half moon signature

The Middle one is a Yvsa Cherokee Special (YCS)
The Last one is an engraved Ultimate Fighter.

Chiruwa YCS:thumbup:. If you can't take care of whatever you have with that rig, you need a scalpel, a power drill or a chainsaw!:D
 
well guys
i was hoping they were somthing special as they were all h.i.'s theres two kuks id bust a gut for.

hi guys
in my three new babies i asked what two of the three kuks were
and was told the carved handel one was s y.c.s now amongst the others
im getting is possibly another now this one has the main kuk the two side knives plus a long three sided gismo not sure what it is but on all three handles are white diamonds with a black dot in the middle plus a ying/yang sign on the bottom of the handles as well now ive checked on the h.i. site and this appears to be a y.c.s as well how many types of the y.c.s were there also did h.i. make a kuk called operation iraqi freedom with a light sandy coloured scabard and engraved operation iraqi freedom on one side and on the other im not sure of the full qotation but it is somthing like this blank blank tyrants fear blank blank not sure of the whole second qotation hence the blank blank

The one your mentioning with the three toos (two Karda's and
Chakma the three sided thing) Is a YCS Yvsa Cherokee Special.
 
There are 4 or 5 different styles of YCS.
The Operation Iraqi Freedom Khukuri is a khukuri house product.

there is one further thing guys has anyone a pic of a sheath for a ultimate fighter as i think part of mines been cut off at some point

yes your right its been moved further down the scabard and the restraining strap has been removed so ive a couple of options scrounge another from somewhere get another made or ask auntie if she has a spare thanks for the pic it gives me an idea of what the original looks like

i can tell you its a big beast over 21 inches long 16mm thick on the spine at the bolster must weigh over three pounds + and one of the thickest handles ive ever seen and double edged too normal cutting edge plus the bit from the tip of the bade coming back over and some of the best engraving ive ever seen

i dont know how old the ultimate fighter is supposed to be
but it has the ub mark on so was made after he died
