Brand New in Box Cold Steel Safekeeper III SOLD!!!

3-inch blade, 5.25 inches overall. Thick, aggressive, sharp edge (lower edge only). Rubber handle. Kydex sheath with belt clip and eight holes for stringing the sheath up in various ways. Makes a great necker or boot knife. Inspired by knifes carried by gamblers during one or another 19th century Gold Rush. Short quick weapon of last resort. Slash a cheek or a throat in a whoosh.

Brand New in Box Cold Steel Vaquero Grande

The Vaquero Grande, when we last checked, was, in overall length, the largest folding knife produced for combat intent by an American firm.

The Vaquero Grande is a shade under 7 1/2 inches folded. However, the blade swings open at an eyebrow-raising 6 inches, and the overall length of the knife--an impressive 13-plus inches--makes a nice clear statement about fair play that it doesn't take a genius to understand: not here.

The blade is wickedly serrated along its entire undulating, serpentine length, right up to the upswept Nogales tip, designed to facilitate those upward pumping gut thrusts life sometimes forces us reluctantly to mete out. A partial thumb flick and moderate wrist flick will have the big blade smoothly clicking into place with positive lock in an effortless, lightning-quick motion.

Comes with a pocket clip.

$60 shipped CONUS. (Most people would charge an extra $10 to ship this big sucker.)

Brand New Cold Steel Ti-Lite (Zytel Handle)

Inspired by the switchblade James Dean brandished in Rebel without a Cause, is a long lean smart-looking, retro stiletto. It opens manually to a 9-inch overall length with a 4-inch stiletto blade with a false upper edge.
The same knife with titanium handles will more than double the price. I like Zytel myself, not only because it wears like iron (it will most probably outlast the blade) but because it's the basic Cold Steel handle material.

Cold Steels are excellent low to mid-priced knives, and those seeking fancier materials at fancier prices should give the "Custom Knives For Sale By Individuals" thread a good look. My two cents on fancified low-price knives. You want fancy? Buy a Mercedes, not a Titanium Taurus.

The Ti-Lite with Zytel Handle feels great and looks great in your hand. Good balance. Great knife and blade length. Blade opens with positive lock and has zero blade play. No question: It's one stylish knife. It's the epitome of cool.

$50 shipped CONUS
