and my small regular Sebenza grows on me. It's become second nature now to open/close. This is the only metal handled knife I like, It feels great. I am not sure why the Seb feels so natural in hand.

Now I am thinking of getting a large (big suprise ) but not sure if a regular or classic will be the one. I like the looks of the mycarta??????

gull wing, before U buy a large. Try and get to a knife shop or knife show to see which is more comfortable in hand for your use! then pick out a cool design or scales.
Then take the plunge!!:D

Hey gull wing,

Glad to hear the Sebbie is growing on you. I got a small just after you did. I like mine too. It's in my pocket right now.

:)

I love the large but because of people wigging out over blades where I am at, the small suits me better. For some reason, the 'pretty' nature of the Wood Classic Sebenza impresses even NKP and I get compliments and questions on the blade all of the time by extremely sheeple people. And I agree as that is the only metal handled folder I like; I usually prefer G10 but the Sebenza is so ergonomic that it works well despite the lack of grippy material.

The Large Micarta is designed with grip in mind. Unlike polished Micarta, the Micarta used on Reeves offer exceptional grip when dry and better grip when wet as the Micarta swells temporarily when soaked. I personally think the Classic is easier to close, but some people I know think the exact opposite.

You won't go wrong with a large Micarta. I still carry my large plain classic more (can't seem to wear it out!) but if I had to choose only one it would be the Micarta without a doubt.

I KNEW you would like the Sebbie!! I think you will ike a large classic, with micarta!!
