While some find them lackluster, I love the styling of the old Frontier/Imperials and their bare bones, utilitarian flavor. The fish knives, are pretty nifty as well, I've never once used on for their intended purpose, but I like the pattern nonetheless, it seems to be well articulated, and more than serviceable.
Those three would handle anything for out door use for me; all nice! My granddad sometimes carried a Frontier Stockman like that which had belonged to his late brother!
Oh yeah, that's exactly what the secondary is intended to do. They were a quite popular pattern at one time. Case still makes a fish knife complete with hook sharpening stone in the mark side cover.
I wish I could find my dad's old fish knife. It was a Kabar if I'm remembering it properly.
