Three old pocketknives I found and am cleaning up

The girlscouts knife is kinda rare.....wouldn't mess with it too much.

Hi Bear,

What you see is the end result of the work I did.

I gently cleaned off as much rust & grime as "The Bartenders Friend" scrubbing powder, a brass-bristle brush, and a Brillo pad would get, then rinsed and dried them. I sharpened and stropped them so they all shave hair from your forearm very easily. Finally, I polished them with an automotive grade, stainless steel polish, then wiped them with a soft dry cloth. I'm done.

Dad is coming over in a day or two, and if he wants them back, they're his. If not, I'll keep the Old Timer and offer the other two for sale somewhere. You can't turn around in Southwest Missouri without tripping over an antique store.

But thanks for the advice. I felt the same way when I began messing with them.

David
