Here's a few photos of some knife/sheath combinations that I recently completed. It's been nearly a year since I last made any sheathes, and it shows in minor tooling and staining blemishes. In any case, I still think they came out well.

I'm about to post these in the custom knife forum too, so if you frequent that board . . . sorry for the double posting.

Thanks,

Michael, those knives are fantastic, I especially like #41.

A thought on your basket weaves, if you don't mind. I've had much better luck with mine since I started having the "heals" of the stamp match from row to row. On the photos you seem to have put them end to end, stretching the pattern out a bit further than it should. It will take a few more impressions to cover the area, but it might very well help you clean up some of the issues you think you are having.

Chris,

Agreed. I've had a hard time lining up the ends with the tandy stamp that I have. I just ordered a JW Watt stamp that appears to have much more defined marks at the "heals". If this doesn't help, I guess I'll just need to stamp some throw-away patterns before starting work on new sheaths after a relatively long hiatus.

Looks great, I like how you did the end of your belt loop stitching, not going straight across helps prevent tearing down the road sometimes.

Plus now your customers will know it's from deep in the Heart of Texas ;)

Surprised to see a fellow BF member that's practically a neighbor of mine. I follow Gary and saw this post. Cypress, Texas. Small world. I live in Houston on the West side near Katy. I'd love to see more of your work.

Sheaths look great btw. I wish I had that talent.

Thanks for the comments everyone.
