TGLB, DS8, and DS. Similar blade shapes and similar blood grooves, but the handle variations and blade lengths make them all feel much different. Until recently I was not a fan of Res-C handles, but these Dog Soldiers (and the SYKCO 1311) have changed my mind in that regard; the Res-C makes for an awesome user. I also like to mix up the sheaths and try new things and see what works best for me and my uses. @knifeleather David Brown David Brown and @Azula Gun Holsters all make excellent sheaths; they are very different, but they are all very functional and high quality.

Sweet presentation ZH! Bootiful! I'm really falling in love with the DS8 ... don't know how I didn't see it before but that's a sweet blade
The DS8 was an odd experience for me quite honestly. When it was announced it didn't immediately resonate with me, and I didn't order it right away (usually I know pretty quickly after a knife is announced if I'm going to be in or not). After sitting on it for a couple days and then staring at the pics, I decided I had to have it. After ordering it the anticipation built and I got to the point that I could hardly wait for it to arrive. Now that I have it in hand I can't understand why I hesitated initially, it is an amazing knife!

I nodded my head on every word, right there in the same orbit - I kind of imagine it being like a resC LB treatment - My hesitation comes from my lack of no idea on the resc - It was what held me back to the last minute on the hogB8 - but everyone is so positive about it I must be making a mistake... I'm a victim of my inexperience in this case... fortunately not an irreversible mistake, only an unexpected diversion to drop by the second hand shop :D

That TGLB—does it have hand-shaped micarta scales? They look awesome! Also, I guess it’s a stripper, right? And that’s a Condos leather sheath?

Thank you for posting Ben, great pics my friend.

I really like the pancake Kydex TG sheath Eric at Mashed Cat makes. Its molded on the original convex grind TG I believe but it fits the original TG, TG14, TGA2, TGLB, TGM, and the DS8 and DS in a pinch. Pretty versatile if you own a few different TG variants! ;):):thumbsup:

Yes, they are hand shaped black linen micarta scales (aftermarket). The blade is a stripper, it had the "striptetion" finish done by @AZTimT
