one day, I hope to travel to the Sakha Republic and see where one of my forefathers/foremothers came from. these knives are tough to get. I think you have to be from there or live there and be Yakut to get one. in a way, that's the way it should be. yet, I wish there was a way the yakutian bladesmiths could design a knife that others could buy and cherish. maybe, in this way, the history of the Yakut people would be known to the world....at least to knife lovers
