Here's three you won't find on the shopping site. Prices include 20% discount.

top -- 18 inch, 30 ounce excellently executed M43 by Kumar. It's 10/10 work entire rig. Good karda and chakma. Excellent scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Price at 20% off is $116 delivered to your door and that's an Uncle Bill recommended best buy.

center -- 21 inch, 34 ounce Chitlangi by Kumar. Very well done. Nobody makes a better handle than kumar. Good karda and chakma. Same old perfect Chitlangi style scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Discount price is $140 delivered to your door. Another best buy.

bottom -- 21 inch, 24 ounce Chitlangi by the master, Bura. This knife shows the difference between the work of a true master and that of an excellent young kami who will be a true master in another 20 years. Compare this one to the one above by Kumar. You look at Kumar's Chitlangi and say "this knife is excellent" -- and then you look at Bura's and realize that Kumar still has a way to go. This is a perfect rig and for $140 I don't think you can find a better bargain in the knife world today.

Call or email.

Wish I had the $$ for that Bura Chit. They're all nice, tho. I bet that Kumar Chit could stand up to serious abuse, with that 34oz. Weight.

M43 gone.

Everybody has been bugging me about a horn handled Chitlangi and it's the last to go. Who were those people who wanted this one?

Ooooo!

I had decided to wait 1 hour then I would give in.

Didn't really --need-- it.

Missed it by a couple of minutes.

Wonderful stuff...

Short on the $$ though...

If the horn-handled chit wasn't on the heavy side, I might not be able to restrain myself. And I thank Pierre for removing the other temptation before I could see it.

30-40% weight difference between the two Chitlangis, depending upon how you look at it.
There's got to be a khuk that is a perfect fit for anyone.

The fullers make the biggest difference in the weight. Bura's are deep and very well defined. Kumar's are shallower and not quite as neat as Bura's -- as I mentioned: It's the difference between an excellent young kami and a master who earned the title "Royal Kami."

difference in fullers...

It looks that way in the pic. Didn't know if it was just the lighting or something. Must be quite a dramatic difference between the two "in person/knife".

I have a 21" Kumar chit with horn handle that I just got from the last batch. I don't know the weight of it, but I think it on the heavy side. I like it that way myself and the handle is beautiful and very comfortable. I would like to handle a lighter one and mine side by side just to feel how different they are.

once again...this all has taken place during my lunch break!!  :( :grumpy:

Pen - Do what Harry used to do. Pick up the phone and make a call to Uncle on your dime before going to lunch.

Just say "Hey Bill, what's going on?" Then when he says he's about to photo the deals for the day, offer to relieve him from the burden of putting up a picture...

Two problems with what would otherwise be a splendid idea:
1 - I would spend my entire paycheck if I called Bill every day. :( Good for HI, though...
2 - Uncle already knows I'm a pest and would probably hang up on me anyway...;) :p

M43!!! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGG!!!!

man, you take the day off and look what you miss...

Why would Uncle hang up on you before your checks start to bounce? :D :D :D
