Not sure what I will do with it but I couldn't leave it there. Tin lined copper brass trim holds 10 cups to the top

Wasn't expensive to start with and they had 50% discount if you where over 50. doesn't fit my other stuff but I thought it needed a home
 
Ive got a big stainless steel teapot for heating water. Works great but I like yours.
 
That tin lining makes it ''food grade'' but I don't know how long that lasts. My father had collected pots for cooking ,heavy weight copper , tin lined .Eventually they had to be retinned.Even then in NYC there weren't many places that would do it.We made sure they understood the pots were not to 'disappear" ! That was before the renaissance of cooking in this country !
