Thrift store find?

I took a chance on this knife. Japan 400c. 5 dollars. Narrow flexible blade. Think it might be a fillet knife.

l also acquired this BUCK pocket knife 10 dollars. Im a bit confused. It says USA on the blade , but made in China on the box. Its in excellent condidtion. The bolsters are scuffed a little but the blade is superb.

There were three Tramontinas there. A butcher , slicer, and chefs knife. Good condition wooden handles. Could have got the lot for 20 dollars.

Thats definately American made. Looks like a model called the Prince. Probably just the wrong box.
 
Yea, the thrift stores and flea markets and that type of place often use whatever ox they can find if it will fir the item.
