Got my Kydex sheath from Thrillbilly. Got the OD green. First off the the grommets on the sheath are spaced to accept a molle clip, one of which i happened to have. Between the holes in the sheath and the holes in the clip there is a range of mounting adjustment. I chose to mount the clip as high as possible giving the knife a slight "dangle" and a nice neutral feeling, unlike say, a BK2 with the strap unsnapped. Also i mounted the closure to the bottom keeping the slim end up towads the knife. The retention was spot on, for me at least. The knife snapped in smartly with no wiggle at all. For you sneaky types it makes no noise at all. Best of all you can withdraw the knife without yanking your belt, pants, gear out of wack. I haven't been out and about with it yet but but I'm sure it will get more use than my factory sheath, especialy when i'm out on my atv (almost always) and dont need a sheath with any carrying capacity. Great job Thrillbilly thanks

Glad ya like it!

Im now putting melded thumbramps on them, although the 16 size and under dont really ''require'' 'ramps for smooth release (IMO)

That's a good idea with the ''dangler'' molle lock...I gotta try that

Man oh man Thrill, looks like your really getting spot on with that kydex. Looking good!!

Very nice,, now Tommythewho, may I ask what width your belt is (ie 1.5 inch or 2 inch) and how much play does the molle clip allow on it??

The molle clips fit together flush..so u are wedging it over the belt..it dont move much at all, in fact sometimes its hard to get it to clasp around a belt. they are designed for nylon moole attachment straps..not leather belts. I have found it helps to heat it up, and mold it around ur belt...give some room so it aint pulling against the clip's clasp.

The molle lock is flexible to the point that it clamps the belt and won't slide around. I think it will take almost a 3" belt as long as the belt isn't too thick at the closure
