Need some ideas on a good way to let go of around $100-$120. Have too much s30v and Vg-10 all others are fair game.
 
Yes, I agree, probably the maxix in s110v. Although...a serrated H1 Pacific Salt is kind of in the "super steel" category too IMO.
 
I'd go Chaparral with CTS-XHP or maybe a fixed Serrata with 440C.
 
Manix s110v has been on the mind. I've tossed the Chap back and forth for a few months too. Found some in stock SB Stretches. Been contemplating that as well. Keep em coming

And CTS-XHP glides through material like it isn't even there. Maybe it's got something to do with the way I grind or polish my edges but it just puts a stupid grin on my face every time I use it.
I was cutting the lid off of a corrugated cardboard box last week with my Foundry and had a few people milling around that were watching. Jaws dropped and I got a couple of "what the fu**s" when the blade slid through with no effort. It's a keeper.
 
I agree with you, that's why I haven't pulled the trigger on pre-ordering it. The original is awesome, I was just throwing you an idea since a lot of members are excited about it. Maybe track down some Super Blue..awesome steel

I have a SB Manbug and love how sharp it gets. But I don't really use it. Right after I got it I got on a big knife kick so it and my Dragonflies haven't got much love lately.

This ^ the Chaparral in XHP and CF is a absolutely awesome choice and for $110 it's very well priced. Try XHP and you'll be in love!
 
Hey yeah, I almost forgot about the new hap40 delica and endura that are coming soon. That Delica is actually one of my only "must buys" right now.

But then again, the Manbug is a great choice too if you want something different and you can save a few bucks also. I have a ZDP and SuperBlue MB and to be honest, they see more use than any other knife own ( have over a dozen spydies and BM). If you get a manbug go with the ZDP... $50 and it'll do 75% of most cutting jobs the average guy will encounter.
