So I read from a very well-to-do knife maker that he will not make throwing knives because according to him, " ...throwing knives are 'throwing away' knives...". Do you guys concur? And if you don't, what do you make/buy your throwers out of and how do they hold up?
I ask because dad wants all us boys to start learning how to throw, so this Christmas we're getting throwers. We'll start with some elchespos just to get the feel of throwing ( and so we dont have to destroy out knives ), then with your guys help, I'd like to get some decent ones that will stand a few misses and hits.
