I decided to challenge a friend of mine on YouTube MrM00Mz. He made 7 hits with 4 consecutive halfspin double knife throws.

Here's his original:

And here's my video:

Comments are welcome. Check out MrM00Mz's channel (I believe those are zeros not the letter "o")

Anyone feels like a challenge, pm me.

I would think it makes a lot of difference that you are throwing 2 knives at a clean target every time. The first video he still had knives in the target which could of been the reason why all of his didn't stick. Not saying it was the reason, just that it could have affected the outcome.

ETA: Wow just realized this is almost a month old.

And it was hard to tell your distance. In fact it looked like your throws were No Spin Throws from about 4 feet with a single pair of True flights at a target on the floor vs a much farther throw at a target 4 foot high. Not really comparing the same Granny Smiths to the same Sunkists are you. Yours look like good throws but the contrast in set up and presentation is less than convincing as a Challenge.

True, but it didn't stop him from completely destroying my score in a private video later that week. I have no doubt that he can get upwards of 15 throws in a row without breaking a sweat. (also I only have 3 knives...)

Freak Show Scott:
My distance was quite short, I admit it. My target had broken and I couldn't use it outside. I would have just used my normal tree, but I promised views I'd stop using "living" trees. I estimate his distance at ~15ft (or 5 paces). Mine are normally at ~9ft (or 3 paces).

Thanks for the comments. If you guys would like me to remake it, I think I could beat my old record.

I like throwing double hawks occasionally. Takes a bit more oomph with a 32 ounce hawk in each hand.

Nice. Is it hard to throw doubles with the rounded handles of the hawks?

I am talking about one in each hand. Little bit harder to get equal force and spin when you are throwing with right and left at the same time.

I have done throws with two hawks in the same hand. It works close, but you do loose force.

I have been trying my hand at no spin (or really, 1/4 spin out to about 15 feet).

I threw knives a lot as a kid. My favorite knife was an old WWII bayonet with a 12 in blade and 6 inch handle. Still have it.
