Throwing hawk hafts.....

Did do quite abit of testing on the throwing hawk on my last post. Really surprized how well the handles hold up. Was expecting it to break rather suddenly. The only damage on it is the top and bottom being dinged up. Been thinking about putting a rubber bumper on the top and bottom if I can find a good way to anchor it. Any of you seen anything that helps protect the ends?

First off they should be well rounded. For a cap, maybe you could try one of the workable epoxies and just shape a cover.
