I bought this Knife about 15 or 20 years ago in a small town gun shop. The owner of the shop told me the name of the knife was Spicer has anybody heard of this maker? Any info when would be great.

Shit, I know that knife. I've thrown it before as well. It used to be sold in a magazine (that I forget the name of). New, they sold for a pretty high price; $60 in the zine if I remember.

It's a solid throwing knife. Pretty heavy, and blunt, but you probably already know that.

It is usually used for mountain man throwing competitions as it has natural handle scales.

HOPE THAT HELPED A LITTLE :D

I had a unit n buddy that went to frontier outings so the mountain man competition makes sense. Ya it was right at 50ish bucks. It was blunt so I ground a point on it. I found a little more info on it, it's made from an Amish buggy spring. Not sure what kind of steel that is though.
