  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

anyone do or try this? the needles are about 6 in legnth the shoulin monks would throw them foe self defence as far as i know they used a 1 spin or quarter spin throw

Do this:

Zip on over to your local grocery, and in the cooking implements aisle, grab a pack of the 6"-9" metal skewers.

Don't get the longer ones.

Return home, set up a carboard box.

Walk off just about any distance you'd like up to 20 feet.

Grab the pointy end of the skewer, and throw at the box.

If your throwing form is even halfway decent, you'll stick that skewer into the box about 90% of the time.

If you use longer skewers, they tend to bend in flight, and become unusable after a couple of throws. Shorter is better.

Enjoy.

I've seen a youtube video of some crazy monks throwing little needles through glass! It was crazy!!! Of course the monk was point blank when he threw it, but it still broke the glass.
