im wanting to make a throwing wall/target in my back yard it will be for knives, tomahawks, shurkiens and maybe a longbow

what would be something to make for this set up i thought about plywood but the weather would get to it to soon plus im thinking its to hard

ideas?

There are a number of nice inexpensive target set ups that you can make. You can make a backdrop with 4x4's and nail 2x6 crosspeices to them and then lag bolt some sawed off cross sections of pine to the 2x6's. That is really just about the best one. If you are concerned about hitting something behind it, you can attach a backing from plywood or old carpeting to your set up to catch any misses. Use your imagination.
I'll try to post a pic of my set up later on today.

That's exactly what I use; cheap and effective. When the boards start wearing out, you can easily shift em' around to prolong the life.
