Throwing spikes

Heres a set of spikes i forged from mild steel and case hardened and brine quenched to make them more durable.I left them with a forged finish and gave them a traditional beeswax coat.Each spike weighs 3 1/2 oz.

When i was kid, i used to make spikes pointed on both sides. whem we were throwing them in cellar, buddy of mine rised hand to throw one, but sticked one end in ceiling and other in his hand. hes now drunkard and a-hole, but this probably has nothing to do with this ancient injury.
